RARE Royale Stratford Foxhound Vinaigrette

Beautiful MINT Royale Stratford Miniature Foxhound Vinaigrette

Traditionally used in the 1800's as a container for smelling salts or perfumed substances.
They were normally made of fine silver or more rarely fine bone china.

This is hand painted and signed. Ornate gold plated brass bezel set with a decorative pieced fine bone china lid. Stamped - Made in Staffordshire. Royale Stratford ceased trading c2005.

Length 4.9". Width 1.75". Highly collectible. RS made a Hound and a Fox Vinaigrette.
